Hello, Crafty Peeps!
Succulents are all the rage these days, so we thought it would be fun to use the fabulous colors of this lovely Echeveria "Chroma" as inspiration for a papercraft project! Your project can be based on the colors or you may use actual succulent images. Let the spirit move you!

My name is Marianne.
I am married, retired, and I live in Metz in the East of France.
I started scrapbooking in 2009. It quickly became a way to release the stress of work. I have evolved over the years despite being self-taught. I work on feeling. I don't like sketches or lifts that are sorely lacking in personality. I touch a bit of everything, pages, albums, bag jewelry, I love mixed techniques, but it's cardmaking that takes up all my time. For a little over two years, I have been coloring. I still have a lot to learn, but I feel such fulfillment when I color. I have a preference for pencils, although the markers are surprisingly realistic.

At the start of the pandemic, I went back and rediscovered my watercolors. I wanted something that takes time and is challenging. I discovered many wonderful artists who share their talents online. I've made an effort to vary their tutorials and learned a lot of new techniques. That's the really exciting part of this rediscovery. As a retired art teacher, I've always been open to new experiences, not hesitating to try to broaden my abilities. With all the time I have invested in this hobby, I can say that my art is so much better than it was when I taught the subject.
I am continually inspired by the many artists online. Here are two Abstract Watercolors from a tutorial by The Art Sherpa, Cinnamon Cooney. For additional information go to:
